Who we are

Who we are

Who we are

JEANETTE

"My husband Wayne and I have lived in the district for 35 years.  We saw our 4 children through the school system, Stephanie graduated in 2005, Brittany in 2009, Ashley in 2011, and Zachary in 2017. I have actively volunteered for both the district and the community .  Before choosing to become a full-time, stay-at-home mom,  I worked as a paralegal. In addition, to volunteering for the district and several not for profit community organizations, I create custom goodies and party favors.

CHERYL

Our son Bryan graduated in 2016, and Nick is in the Class of 2021.  I am a Human Resources professional for a non-profit agency.  I have training and experience in several skills that directly relate to BOE duties, budgeting and financial management.  As a parent volunteer and PTA officer, I have worked to support our administration, faculty and students.

  • Foster respectful and constructive discussion among BOE members

  • Develop a true partnership with the administration

  • Continue to move the district's award-winning programs forward

  • Minimize the tax burden to attract new families and retain our current residents.

  • Plan for the future:  develop a comprehensive plan to address declining enrollment and create a 5-year budget projection.

Our pledge

We promise to be prepared.  We will remain knowledgeable on

important issues that impact our students

and schools.

We will diligently research and review all material so that we can vote in a manner that always benefits students.

We promise to work together, but not necessarily to vote together.

Our individual experiences provide

us with unique and different perspectives,

as is true for

all BOE members.

We will listen to our fellow BOE members.  We will seriously and thoughtfully consider their perspectives and expertise, as we work together to make decisions that are in the best interest of the residents.

We will treat all members. adminstrators, faculty, staff, parents students and residents with courtesy and respect.

We promise to control spending.

We recognize that we must ease the tax burden to encourage stability in our district.
